ok, so just cracked head on sink...

i slipped while getting out of the bath, hit my right hand side approx where ribs are on the side of the bath - not too painful.

But, i cracked my head on the sink, just above my eye, which has turned black already and is rapidly swelling and tingling. I feel a little sick, but thought if it was concussion that i would have to actually be sick??

I am here on my own, sitting crying and shaking - what is best to do? (please be gentle, i am in a bit of a state)

Ice on head for starters, pack of frozen peas to bring swelling down.

Raise your feet if feeling faint too.

If you didn't pass out that's a good sign, however if you start to feel worse, call NHSdirect for advice.

Otherwise see how you go for now, I think. Are you pregnant?
