to a VAD. looks like peter will have double exterior pump fitted tomorrow (tho have been told this all could change in the OR). it means he wont be coming home. not till after transplant.

he is going to miss dd2 birthday, he is going to miss dd3 growing from baby to almost toddler. this isnt fair.

Misdee, does the ITU have anywhere for you to stay? Not much help with regards to your DC but might help you to be close to him.

misdee · 05/07/2005 22:03

strange question - and feel free to say 'no' - but could you CAT/email me your first name (misdee) feels a bit odd when praying for Peter and "misdee".

Shall be thinking of you.

noddyholder · 06/07/2005 08:10

Misdee is he having any psychological help to deal with this?I only ask because I had real problems when on dialysis with the thought that a machine was keeping me alive and this is apparently very common esp in younger patients Hope everything goes smoothly today xxx

mrspink27 · 06/07/2005 08:16

thinking of you today, have a lump in my throat thinking about you, take care, be brave and think of all the good times you've had and will have in the future
