Does anyone know what can be causing my pain?

It's in my right hip and sometimes in my stomach, feels like a burning hot poker has been rammed into my side.

I can walk ok so don't really think it's my hip but as a youngster I had grumbling(sp?) appendix, could it be that?

sorry - no idea - have you been to see your gp? surely they will have some ideas?

differentID · 17/01/2010 00:00

are you ovulating do you think?

displayuntilbestbefore · 17/01/2010 00:01

see your gp or out of hours tomorrow if necessary

MollieO · 17/01/2010 00:02

Does it radiate round to your back (think that is what appendicitis is supposed to do). Why don't you call NHS direct to see what they say?

KurriKurri · 17/01/2010 00:04

I would call NHS direct or your surgery's out of hours service for advice.

TheOldestCat · 17/01/2010 00:04

Nope, see your GP or call NHS Direct. It's probably nothing, but worth getting yourself checked out.

PurplePillow · 17/01/2010 00:05

Not been to drs yet, if I can last will go on monday.

Don't think it's ovulation pain, I don't think I've ever felt that before.

Bit worried in case it's my appendix but going to take painkillers and cuddle a heat pack in bed and see if it's any better tommorrow.

Thanks for your reply's though
