has anyones dc had a an upset tum and sore bits following the flu jab? dd had hers on Weds and was up half the night with an upset tum. Wasn't horrendous but she did have sore bits so wondered of anyone else has had the same thing. Not that it's relevant but she had hers in her thigh. I thought it would have been in her arm?

Not sure about children but I had my swine flu jab last week. I had an awful stomach for the night after the jab. Dp also did after his and felt quite sick for a few days.

Maybe take her to your GP on Monday if her bits are still swollen, thats not a symptom I have heard of but I guess everyone can react differently.

I hope she feels better soon

thanks for that m2m . She seems fine today but was very upset last night. She had 3 quick baths after. Wish I had a bidet! And a bit of sudocreme and she's not complaining today.

Sods law though, I was supposed to be going to a party tonight about and hour or so away and she was having a sleep over at a friends but have decided prob better if I stay put

Hi

Looks like an upset stomach is a side effect some people experience after having pandemrix, you can see the reported side effects here just scroll down to the latest report at the bottom

thanks for that info. Had a quick scan through and crikey there are lots of reported side effects but a lot of them must surely be pure coincidence?? Anyway, she seems bright enough and no temp so thats reassuring.

My 11 month old has had chronic diarrhea for 3 days now (started 3 days after jab) and my 2 1/2 yr old has started with diarrheoa and vomiting today (5 days after jab). No bugs going round so assuming related to injection...

My 2 DD's (3.5 yrs & 17 mths) had the jab. Older DD was fine but my toddler had very dodgy nappies. Not diarrhoea but very mushy & smelly (sorry if tmi!) from 5 days after the jab lasting 4 days. Her bottom was the sorest I have ever seen it & she cried in pain.

It was definitely not a bug (she was eating/sleeping/playing well & no temp) so just another side affect to watch out for.
