Does anyone know of a test for swine flu immunity?

My DC are both eligible for the swine flu vaccine.

However, all of us had a really nasty bug a couple of months ago - high temp, cough, cold, sickness etc. I'm very rarely ill but I felt worse than I can remember feeling for many years.

So I'm wondering, was it swine flu? And if it was, then there's no point in subjecting my DCs to an injection (which, like everyone else, I'm slightly nervous about anyway).

Does anyone know of a test to see if we are already immune to the virus, as a result of having had it already? It can't be done on the NHS, and my local private hospital don't have the facilities to do it.

Any ideas?
