Is swine flu still as widespread as it was, or is it just the media have moved on to new topics?

Just been told my children can have the vaccine, but am currently thinking that they are unlikely to pick up the virus anyway. No one I know has been affected recently.

Rates have dropped - no-one really understands why - have a look at www.flusurvey.org.uk but I'm still giving my monsters the vax (and I've had it too) because we don't actually know that it has gone away and even if the risks are lower, the risks of the vaccine are lower still and if they do contract it could be quite dangerous.
