Worried, have I food poisoned myself?

I made a lovely soup last night (posted the recipe I enjoyed it so much!!) but just had the leftovers about an hour or 2 ago and am feeling really woozy and nauseous (reminds of me of how I felt last time I got food poisoning). Hoping it will just pass, the soup had double cream in it and was left covered in a cool place overnight. Could I have got something from it?

Where did you leave the soup? sounds like it wasnt in the fridge!!!!!!
its possible the cream may have gone off and could give you food poisoning...or at its worst listeria. I had it due to soft cheese that i ate a few weeks ago and it made me really ill(sore stomach,pain,nausea for 19 days)

Thanks for replying, turned out I was Ok, was just a weird spell and it passed. The soup wasn't in the fridge but by the window in our conservatory which gets pretty cold at night.

Not enough room in the fridge but I'll maybe think twice next time!

could it have been something to do with an ingredient you used or something you had earlier in the day that was shopbought? I used to get that sort of woozy/nauseous/need to lie down somewhere quiet feeling sometimes and found it was modified maize starch in things that gave me a funny turn so I now avoid it at all costs!
