DH has had chest pains for more than 12 hours. He told me this morning, I went straight on to NHS direct and it said call 999. I made him ring the out of hours doctor and they said he has to go to A & E to have a trace put on to check it isn't his heart. I am just waiting for his parents to get hereto have the kids.

oh, fab, how worrying for you all. He's in the right place now (cliche, I know), fingers crossed it's just indigestion.

Sorry xx

franke · 27/12/2009 11:49

How worrying, but thank goodness it's not his heart. Now go pamper him and yourself.

Found this on Netdoctor

Hope he is feeling a lot better now.

StealthPolarBear · 27/12/2009 11:58

does it need any further treatment?
Couldn't tell, are you still scared, or reassured?

FabHasHadALovelyXmas · 27/12/2009 12:00

Thank you MrsGok.

Stealth - he has to take tablets for 3-5 days and that is is it I think. He was going to go in to work tmw and do some IT stuff while no one else is there but isn't now. I am still concerned but not so scared. Just want him well.

Good, hope he is well soon. What a scare!

giraffespullthesleigh · 27/12/2009 12:06

Have had that before, can be very sore. Glad its not his heart.

InMyLittleHead · 27/12/2009 15:12

Bloody costochondritis! I have had that, it does feel dangerous and heart-related but totally isn't. He will be right as rain in a few days. DP told me it was 'real' (he is a dr). Felt bloody real to me!
