My foot is puffy. Should I worry, or is it middle-age?

My right foot has gone puffy at the front of the ankle. It doesn't hurt, might be a bit achey but that could be because I'm poking it every few minutes to check it.

Dp has said to go the doctor, but won't get an appointment for ages now. Don't have any major medical problems but do have a couple of impressive varicose veins on that leg and do get Raynaulds (sp) in my feet and hands.

Keep an eye on it, try to sit with it elevated. It's proably the vv.

is it hot. when you press the swollen area does it take a while for the depressed area to spring back to normal.
have you got calf pain.
