Side effects from swine flu immunisation in under 5's??

Hi,
Apologies that I've started a thread that has probably been done many times already but just wanted to know if any children have had bad reactions to the swine flu jab.
My two DS's (3.5yrs & 2yrs) are due to have theirs on Xmas eve so want to make sure that the jab doesn't result in a miserable Xmas for us all. The boys do not have any health conditions such as asthma and also they don't usually react from immunisations.
Thank you v much in advance for all replies!

The most common side effect seems to be a really sore arm, some people have said it was so painful they woke themselves up when they rolled on it at night. However I've just had mine last week and I had no pain and no other side effects.
The nurse told me i might get some mild flu like symptoms too and then launched in to a long list of the very unlikely possible side-effects - None of which i had.
If you're concerned you should give your docs a call or look on the NHS website, they can give you the full list.

Thanks v much. I have had it & I had a mildly sore arm. I did ask the reception at the drs what they are suggesting could happen & was just told that they don't know

My 5yr and 3.5yr old have had the vaccine and had no side effects at all - not even moaning about a sore arm from either of them, and the 3.5yr old will usually moan at the mildest of things!!
Hope it all goes that smoothly for you.
