Eczema etc - anyone tried this Salcura stuff?

My local independent chemist is using it on her psoriasis and raving about it. I tried a bit on my grumbling eczema but it seemed too watery to be likely to do anything, and is not at all cheap. Anyone tried it?

no, i use epaderm for my ds's eczema and it works pretty good, it is a bit greasy so i tend to use it only on a night. not sure if its prescription only or whether you can buy it over the counter

I swear by Epaderm. After a week of suing it my skin felt soft for the first time ever. As for the eczema itself, you can't beat Betnovate. It is quite a strong steroid, but believe me, I suffered with eczena for nearly 30 years. I did 2 weeks of Betnovate and my eczema has cleared. I just use Epaderm now. Bearing in mind I even had to use mild hydrocortizone on my face and now I don't use anything. Just moisturiser. My life and confidence has changed. Sorry for going on, I just wish someone had told me years ago x
