Would you see a doctor about this?

For 8 long days now I have had a mild fever, shivers, achey limbs, terrible head cold and sinus pain.

It's basically a terrible cold or mild flu. Normally I would never consider bothering a doctor about either but it's been 8 long days without any hint of improvement at all. If anything I am getting ightly worse. I have no energy, no appetite and it's really getting me down.

Would anyone consider a GP visit at this stage or would you continue to sit it out?

I think a dr would probably just tell you to sit it out for a few more days providing your chest is clear and you have no other symptoms that suggest treatment.

you could get ab's for the sinuses actually so yes i have changed my mind you should go

No- stay at home and don't infect everyone else in the surgery!

Seriously there is NO CURE FOR A VIRUS- anitbiotics will not work and drs are being told not to give them except for severe bacterial infections.

Are you working or at home?

Unless your temp is really high- over 39C and you are suffering chest pains, racking cough etc, then stay at home, drink lots, keep warm and it will pass.
