I noticed my left ankle was quite sore on Saturday, took my boot off and saw it was red and a bit swollen on top...slightly towards the outer edge, right in the crease where leg joins foot.
I don't remember any injury. dh thought maybe bite, but bite in December when I have socks and boots on the whole time? It felt hot, was sore to bend, and could feel it when I walked.
Since then, its got better to a point (don't notice it when walking, redness gone) but the last couple of days has formed a distinct lump which isn't going down at all. Its tender around the edges, and when I bend my foot - especially in the evening.
Any ideas? If I google I'm sure I'll focus more on soft tissue sarcomas than on ganglions, so any help welcome....!
