Thread title was meant to amuse, but yes I have shooting pains in fanny flaps.

Have severe lower back pain that is making me cry, pains in left leg and the flap thing.

It feels like very, very bad SPD. Have been to Dr who has given me codeine.

Anythig I can do or just wait it out?

Is the back pain on one side? Kidney pain especailly stoned can cause pain int he back /flank that radiates down to the labia.

ouch no advice other than when i read it i thought you said you had been to see Dr Who

hope you get some relief from it.

SpottyXmasStockings · 14/12/2009 22:19

Is it not SPD? I got it 6mths postnatally with DC2. Sciatica also presented as you described and down back of leg to knee - both ouch!

SuWoombOfImmaculateConception · 14/12/2009 22:24

Ha ha, no I didn't get my fanny out for David Tennant but never say never .

It's in my left side, buttocks, lower back and leg hurt and achey vulva, sometimes shooting pain. Dr (who) didn't even touch me, said it might be sciatica. Could well be that looking at google.

I don't imagine this is what kidney stones feel like, clench. This feels more muscular/ bone pain if that makes sense.

The fanjo area is v. painful too though

Sciatica should be made worse by 'Straight leg raise'. Lie on back and see what happens if you raise you left leg stright up in the air.

Ouch, yes I get that pain too. I describe it to dh as being like when you bump up a high kerb on a bike and your nether regions thump the saddle. Sciatica's the cause of it here too.

Pain feels different today, not better as such just different. I can't really lift my leg because it hurts too much. The pain is more central today, feels like its right down my spine into my coccyx. Not so much in the fanjo today.

Turning over in bed is virtually impossible and getting up from standing results in sharp pain and lots of expletives.

I hope it goes before Saturday as we are driving from Manchester to France- great
