What is a safe dose of fatty acids to take during pregnancy? I don't eat much oily fish.

hi Lyra

Not sure what a safe dose is, but I would recommend taking Mor DHA omega 3 which is specially formulated for pregnant and breastfeeding women - apparently it contains the specific EFAs required for the healthy development of the fetus and baby and can also reduce the liklihood of postnatal depression. If you do a search on the web you should find more info. I've been taking them anyway... :-)
