Can you get to a pharmacist for some decent throat spray? I guess you are having to be careful with things like ibuprofen at the moment?

The sore throat will subside. Honest!

Had an endoscopy before. I was awake. Were you put off to sleep when you had it done? I heard that they prefer you to be awake - as uncomfortable as it is - when you have it done because the muscles of your chest and throat are not relaxed and so there is less chance of scope grazing, brusing or scratching your troat; (they have to be less vigorous) and you developing a very sore throat afterwards.

But don't worry, it's very unlikely to have caused any real damage. Your throat will heal soon. Avoid hot drinks, hard foods etc. It'll be alright, promise!
