Really had enough of this - cysts

Over the last 12 months I have started to get cysts - only a couple in my groin/pubic area.

I have been to the docs about 4 times about this and kept complaining that they keep filling up. GP tells me i will always have them and just to wash with an anti bacterial wash. At the moment they have calmed down so not sore or anything. GP said that the only cure is to remove them but sometimes this doesnt solve the problem. I dont want them cut out anyway really.

A few weeks ago I got what I thought was a big spot on my boob. I admit that I prodded it a bit, but it has turned into a cyst. Not only is it painful but its bloody ugly and raised. It has burst once (tmi) and loads of gunk came out, and every couple of days a bit more comes out, followed by blood if i squeeze it. It is hard around the edges so I know there is more. But this has been refilling for about a month now. I have tried bathing it with boiling water, drawing ointment, spot cream, sudafed but nothing is working. I know it sounds silly but is really getting me down now - it is so ugly and awful, especially with where it it.

Anyone got any advise on how to make it go. I am going away at xmas and want to wear what i want without having to find the right tops to hide it.

go to the gp and get it sorted properly, they may want to open it and drain and clean it out really well

thisisyesterday - I have been several times to the gp and they dont want to open it and drain it properly. They are really reluctant to do this.

hmmm second opinion? what are their reasons for not wanting to drain it properly?
is there not a risk of it turning into an abcess if they don't sort it out?

I'm on a long course of antibiotics to try to sort out a cyst in my groin/pubic area. they are reluctant to cut it out as it will be hard to heal in that area apparantly
