...given to us in error by GP, no face mask so can't use it and none of them can take it back.
Anyone in need before I chuck it~?

Aha, as I thought.

No, thanks. I don't need it.

Bumping for someone who might.

they arent sterile ...if plastic bag is sealed you could take it back to chemist. But if i remember correctly the plastic isnt sealed.

gigglewitch · 05/12/2009 23:38

haven't opened the box - therefore still stuck down and I thought that the plastic packaging inside was sealed - tho obv haven't opened it, thinking we were giving it back for exchange for the paediatric version
seems a shame to bin it.

the pharmacy can order just the mask to go on it if you get a script for volumatic paediatric mask.... used to get them seperately at times from wholesalers, when paediatric version wasnt available at the chemist where i work.

alypaly · 06/12/2009 10:34

either that or keep it til you get a paediatric version and then it will do as a spare

alypaly · 06/12/2009 10:35

Better idea......ask gp for the paediatric aerochamber with mask...it fits better in your handbag and is just as good

gigglewitch · 07/12/2009 01:37

thaks aly! well that's why we ended up with the redundant/unwanted volumatic - we needed an aerochamber and they sent us that instead.
ATM the chemist is claiming that the mask can't be got separately - ta for the advice, I will ask elsewhere.

they can be ordered sperately but only if chemist uses a certain wholesaler..and if they can be bothered.
