dd started with a runny nose and a very nasty cough on Tues, Wed she became slightly worse and then started vomiting Wed night, then yesterday evening looked really poorly, very lethargic and developed a high temperature.

It was out of hours at the GP surgery so I phoned the SF helpline who diagnosed SF over the phone (didn't realise they did this), then gave me the ref number to pick up Tamiflu.

She was vomiting again last night, calpol and calprofen are bringing the temperature down for a while then its going back up again. She's drinking plenty but not eating much. Still has a very nasty cough (something she has never had with a cold before).

What prompted me to phone the helpline was, that parents were informed last week that a child at dd's pre-school had just been diagnosed with SF (i assume over the phone like dd although can't be too sure).

Just been reading alot of threads on here and really don't know what to do now.
