Mouth and Throat Ulcers...recurrent why??

I have always suffered recurrent mouth ulcers and have kind of learned to live with it at 34yrs old!!

However last month i suffered two recurrent attacks of throat ulcers which i was given anti biotics for the pain and general run-down-ness was awful.

Last week i had a horrible cold and now again another, my throat is so sore and i fear again more ulcers on it.

I take multivitimins and just started on Echinacea, i feel so utterly run down and possibly a bit depressed about it all. DH works long hours i have three Ds's to look after and life is busy...what can i do to treat/prevent and why do i keep getting them?

I'm afraid I can't help but suffer similiar (though not as badly). Get ulcers consecutively, worse when I am run-down/tired (always then!). They do make you feel crap don't they, glandy and irritable. Anyone? Currently I have a big lump on the side of my toungue at the back. Tmi, soz
