Nausea/gagging - not pregnant - any ideas?!

For about a month now, I've been feeling nauseous and getting that nasty gagging feeling. Sometimes it's hardly noticeable, sometimes it's difficult to even eat anything.

I got this feeling when I was pregnant, but I'm sure I'm not because a) haven't done it in a while b) am on cerazette c) bleeding at the mo and d) pregnancy test this morning was negative!! (Took it because I know a) and b) don't necessarily discount pregnancy!!)

On Saturday night, I was violently sick but I don't actually think this was related to my nausea. Ds had been sick a few times on Thursday and I think I caught whatever he had because on Saturday I felt absolutely dreadful, whereas the rest of the time I don't actually feel like I am going to be sick.

Sorry if this is TMI, but I'm hoping that someone out there can suggest why this is happening and what I can do about it!! Thanks!

Nausea can be a side effect of cerazette - could it be this? I would see the doc. if its been going on for a month. Sure I don't need to say that if you are sick within a couple of hours of taking your pill, it might not work.

Thanks for replies everyone.

I don't think it can be the cerazette - have been on it since DS was born 18 months ago, but have just stopped it as was going to anyway.

I'll go and see my dr - best to rule out infections and the like.

Raphael - how's your daughter now?
