Shingles - pain 4 months later

I had shingles in July but recovered fairly quickly. I occasionally have had tingling across my nose where I had shingles but recently it has been more or less constant and much more annoying - not quite painful but really uncomfortable. It's sort of numb yet tingly at the same time and is getting worse. Anyone had this? Or know what I can do? Is there anything I can take to stop it?

I had this when I had shingles as a teenager. There wasn't anything that could be done and it eventually faded over a year or so (worse in cold weather).

My DH had shingles when I was pregnant with DS2, 3.5 years ago and he still has pains in his shoulder where they wre now.

Maybe the weather is why it is worse. I'm scared it is coming back. I can't be ill!

I will drink more sherry to stop it hurting. Thank you minx
