always seem to have whitish vaginal discharge , have been tested for thrush once before and it was negative.
anyway last week feeling rather itchy down there i took a canestan oral tablet.
since i took it i have had a horrible yellowy discharge and a lot of it (sorry!) and i am miles itchier!
havent had sex for months (so not that)
its now 4 days since the canestan. help!

Is the discharge smelly? Have you been tested for bacterial vaginosis - not a std but an overgrowth of a bacteria easily treated.

no ive not noticed a smell and no never been treated for that

I can never resist a post with TMI in the heading.

I'd go to my gp and ask for a swab for MC+S (microspcopy, culture and sensitivity)
