Is It Normal To Feel This Bad After Sterilisation??

Was sterilised on Tuesday morning....All went ok, needed axygen after for a bit and tramadolas they said the pain was worse due to one tube being larger than the other so the clip was tighter.

Went home after 7 hours and felt ok but really sore.

2 days later and still in lots of pain

Can't sleep as laying down is really tender where the incisions are, moving hurts like hell even with co dydramol every 4-6hrs.

I expected to be back to normal after a few days.

Anyone who has had it feel this bad?

As Harebelle says it is early days so give yourself time to rest and recover, just do wht your body tells you. I felt like I'd been kicked by a horse for a good few days afterwards, I remember feeling sort of stiff inside iyswim, like I had done a load of exercise. I soon got back to normal though so don't worry, just make the most of it while you can

Have got some ibrufen to altenate with the co dydramol. Will see gptomorrow if still feeling like this.
Is it normal to hurt at the end of having a wee? Wondered if they insert a cathater when they do the op?

How are you feeling magnolia74? Better I hope.

Following a section, which I assume would be similar, I had dyclophenic (sp?) which is a morphine based drug ( I think) and took it for at least a week.

I don't think steralization is as major as a section posieparker, it's perfomed by keyhole surgery so you are up and about pretty quickly. I did have quite an extended tummy for a while due to the excess gas!
