Can I take paracetomol and ibruprofen together?

I took 2 x 500mg of paracetomol about an hour ago, but the pain is still there, can I take 2 x ibruprofen?

Not sure I want to explain why I have a head pain.... I wasn't even drunk when I decided to smack it off the living room door ...

Have been prescribed para and ibu together by several GPs.

Should be ok then. If the pain continues or you have any other adverse reaction e.g. vomiting however, call your GP straight away.

Also check packet to make sure one product doesn't contain the other hence leading to an overdose of one or the other.

BTW my advice is from personal experience rather than any medical training.
