Has anyone had the flu jab?

If so, what were the side/after affects afterwards?

Yes. Sore arm for about 36 hours was all I noticed. In previous years I have sometimes had temp/mild flu-like symptoms for maybe 24hrs but to be honest never sure whether directly linked to jab or not

Sore arm too. Really sore despite the nurse having an excellent injection technique. I was a bit put out to find that I would have increased my chances of getting swine flu, but as I've already had it.........
I can't get it again can I?

Me - no side effects
DH - nasty red patch, sore shoulder, lots of grizzling for 3/4 days

No side effects here. It's not a live vaccine any longer.
