MRI results...what does this even mean? anyone?

I have had some odd sympoms for the past 12-18 months. hand tremor, numbness pins and needles in hands etc.
My GP referred me to neurologist to get it all checked out. Neuro sent me for MRI.
I'm due to see him again on Friday but yesterday got a letter from him about my MRI results. I don't know what to make of it.
Anybody shed any light??

It says my MR scan showed nothing specific to explain my results, a few non specific areas have been seen but he is not sure if any significance can be attached to them and he wants to see me again.

I know I'm seeing him on Fri, so no big wait, but I really don't know what to make of the letter, at first reading I thought 'phew, that sounds good' but after re-reading I'm a little concerned about wth these 'non specific areas' are?

I'm hyper sensitive to all of this because my dad has progressive MS and started out with exactly these symtoms, so I am a lot little freaked out by it all.

Anyone with any knowledge on dr speak??

That should read 'showed nothing specific to explain my symptoms' not results

Thanks Harebelle, I don't have any spine problems, numbness, pins needles and tremors only in arms and hands yes. Started out being just one, and recently showed up in the other.
Will jsut have to see what he says on Fri.
Thanks for replying

Yes how did you get on? We're also waiting for a neurological diagnosis so know what you're going through. Thinking of you x
