What's the best way to talk to a human being about swine flu, rather than listen to a machine talking?

Presumably the only medic I can speak to is my GP? I've listened to the announcements on the pandemic helpline and there's no option to actually talk to anybody, which is very irritating as I think their assessment is wrong (i.e. I don't think my DS has SF).

pharmacist is about the only other person you could actually speak to other than GP or Practice Nurse
