I've got something stuck in my eye!

I cut my fringe and straight afterwards got a painful stabbing pain in my eye (near the corner), I swilled it out and it seemed a bit better. However, over the past couple of days it has gotten redder and more sore and this morning it looks swollen. Obviously a hair stuck in it. Should I leave it or do I really need to go the GP?
Am swilling with Optrex. Thanks

Some hospitals have an eye casualty, which deals specially with eyes. It might be worth going and having it washed professionally there, as obviously there is something in it which isn't going to come out easily, as you've already been trying to treat it at home. I'd definitely have it looked at if it's been painful for that long, and is swollen!
