Had wisdom tooth out just over an hour ago. Shall I take painkillers now or wait until the numbness wears off ??

Will I definatly need to take some ?? I have had teeth out before, but can't remember what I did then.

I should imagine it might hurt once the stuff wears off, as it was very hard to get out.

I would start taking before numbness wears off - then you will not have to wait till they start working and be in pain during this time.

Good point, why didn't I think of that. Thanks

Take them now!

Why wait? It's always harder to get them to work once you are in pain than as a preventative.

Take them regularly for next few days, painkillers work better when you're not in immense pain
