DD (15m) has just stuck her finger in the rimless toilet cleaner (which sticks to side of loo, a blob of gel) and obviously tasted it. She is whingeing a bit (although she usually does about now, she is ready for a nap) and she was sticking her tongue out, clearly it tastes nasty...otherwise she is fine and playing. OTT to take her to A&E or would you just keep an eye? I know if I call NHS direct they will send me to A&E....

I would just rinse her mouth out and give her loads of water. Does it look like it burnt her tongue?

My DS ate 3 whole toilet blocks, i called NHS direct to be safe, they have a poisins dept. He was fine they are faiirly low toxicity. He did have a very Blue mouth and poo and wee for a while though. NHS wont send you to a&e they will ask you what brand it is and her wieght and check with the poisins control.

I started giving her some water then worried I might be doing the wrong thing...don't think she's burnt her tongue, she is perfectly happy now....

I have called the poisins control so many times for ds2, he will eat anything, he has eaten tablets, toilet blocks, de scaler, a rubber (eraser, not condom)..

My house is like a fortress i have a bunch of keys just for the many locked cupboards and boxes in my house just to keep him safe.
