I had to have one yesterday, to confirm diagnosis of lichen sclorosis. They took 2 biopsies one stitched the other they used silver nitrate.
I have been quite sore and so decided to have a look - OMG I have a gaping hole in my labia, i look worse than after giving birth and had very large episitotomy then.
I know it is only 24 hours but omg, I think I am in shock tbh as didn't know the biopsy was even planned went for consultant appointment and came out with a mutilated fanjo.

anyone got any idea how this will take to heal?

My mum has Lichen Sclorosis, her mum had cancer of the vulva, I'll ask if she knows anything ((hugs))

Thanks. I am a lot less uncomfortable now, still bleeding a bit though, and hoping it all starts to heal soon.
