hello,
i really need to get my eyes tested and will inevitably need to get glasses. i had a baby a few months ago so get free prescriptions, but does anyone know if this extends to eyes tests / specs?
just so i'm not completely clueless when i go into the optician!
thanks in advance,
a x

Sadly, you don't. You probably should, but you don't.

Your employer might give you an eye test voucher though, if you're on maternity leave.

You need to pay. You can often get vouchers for half price/free sight checks in local newspapers though.

if you are in scotland they are free anyway
