He did it yesterday lunchtime and i did think that he had just bruised it - but now I'm wondering whether i should be taking him to A & E. Its not particularly swollen or bruised looking... But he won't put any pressure on it when walking...

I just collected him from school - my friend whos a nurse said she thought it would just be bruised ....?

What shall i do??

Could be just bruised but if he is still not weight bearing I would get it X-rayed.

Take thee/him to A+E.

Best get it checked out. It could be cracked or something.

Just throw a blanket over him for a few days until he can hopefully walk again.

Hang on. perhaps taking him to A & E would be better.

My DD fell at gym and the school nurse assured me that she had just bruised it as she could move it. When she remained uncomfortable I took her to A&E and she had indeed snapped her wrist.
Always better to check IMO
