Does anyone take this? If so, why?

I am clearing out a cupboard and it is still within date. I can't remember why I have it and am trying to work out whether it is worth keeping.

It's for stress.

Take it and you will feel as calm as anything.

Overmydeadbody · 04/09/2009 17:53

No wait, it's for ulcers.

Does the placebo effect get weaker over time? Or rather, does water lose its memory?

Othersideofthechannel · 04/09/2009 17:55

I have never had any kind of problems with my digestive system.
Quite often stressed though!

sorry, misread your post, thought you said it was out of date....

Overmydeadbody · 04/09/2009 18:07

I don't think so Kathy!

Whatever you believe it is meant to be used for, use it for that.

It is just sugar and clever mind-work after all.

Overmydeadbody · 04/09/2009 18:08

I wouldn't worry about the date tbh, sugar doesn't go out of date.

Overmydeadbody · 04/09/2009 18:11

Of course, you could have just googled it.

Othersideofthechannel · 04/09/2009 21:49

I did but I didn't understand what I came up with

So basically I save it for when I need a sweet fix and we're out of chocolate.

Could be for PMS?

Read the brilliant book, whose name escapes me about alternative/complementary medicine. that will answer all your questions.
For what it's worth, I'd use it as a sink scourer, there's bound to be some sort of grit in it.
Should clarify by saying I'm pretty trolled due to drive to france and smuggling much meat and alcohol back to switzerland.
