I've been getting flutters for more than 2 wks now, they're getting stronger and more frequent, literally as soon as I sit down and relax they arrive.

I've been having regular periods, no period pains, but the left shoulder blade back ache 1 day a month (always the same).

I've done a preg test, which came back neg - that was about a 2wks ago.

Should I go to the GP? Will I look utterly ridiculous explaining this?

(My youngest is 2yo, if that matters)

What do you mean by flutters? Where are they?

Claire2009 · 01/09/2009 22:09

In my lower/mid tummy area.
Flutters - Early preg/baby movement flutters.

minko · 01/09/2009 22:16

Are you stressed? Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

Claire2009 · 01/09/2009 22:17

Doesn't feel wind related at all.
No Stress as such.
IBS, need to google - not sure what it is.

Wind?
Dont understand why you think you are pg if you are having periods>

Claire2009 · 01/09/2009 22:18

Nope, not IBS.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irritable_bowel_syndrome

It really does not feel bowel related.

I done another test, which for some bizarre reason is now positive, I have a scan on Tues to see how far gone I am, I think 11wks.

ok, my youngest is 6 so been a while for me but I was pretty sure you can't feel anything before around 18-20 weeks. From what you're saying if it is pregnancy you'd have been feeling it from 9 weeks?

Claire2009 · 03/09/2009 22:18

I guess so, I felt my second from 13wks....don't really know until the scan.
