Has anyone had a TVT operation? Recovering from mine and need some advice/hand holding

I had my TVT op around 4 days ago and am recovering at home but have awful bulgy feeling (Like having a full tampon in) Need to know is this normal?

I had TVT and womb ablation at the same time and felt very rough for a couple of weeks. You might be swollen or bruised, or it could be because everything is back where it should be! Take it very easy. If you still are worried phone your GP or gynae.

Could you ring the ward you were on? They are often good at checking all is well.

Do you feel that you are emptying your bladder properly/completely? That's the main complication that could give you the symptoms you have. Any better in the two days since you posted?
