As the title says my stomach looks like it is in two parts since having DS in May.

The best way I can describe it is that it looks like I have a really tight belt on over my belly button and then there is a bulge above and under it!

The part underneath looks awful, like a W shape. I am really embarassed about it and want to know what is wrong with it and what i can do make it look any better [begging emotion]

I am loosing weight and exercising but wondered if there was anything more specific I could do?

Don't panic just yet! The skin will tighten up, to some extent, and its really only a few weeks since you had a baby. And don't lose weight too quickly, so the skin has time to shrink back gradually.

I had 2 babies within 2 years, and while I have never had a flat/toned tummy, it's only a bit squishier than before the children - and I do no exercise

I've started a bums and tums class to help tone up my saggy tum. I had two children in 2 years too and I seem to have too much skin now and any weight I do put on goes straight there.
On the positive side, it's still early days for you. Your tummy will recover some tone in time.

god I hope it recovers! the stretch marks have dulled in colour and don't look so angry but i keep forgetting to use my bio oil so must keep that up.

I have to say that towards the end of the pregnancy and for some time after i lost feeling in my tummy - it just felt numb to touch and i could'nt do the postnatal exercises as I could'nt feel any muscles in order to exercise them iyswim?

The numbness has now gone and I try to work the tummy muscles when exercising i.e. holding in and letting out and i may brave some situps [very unfit emotion] but i would love to hear if anyone else has experienced the same and done anything else to improve the area ( bar surgery as i'm too much of a coward!).
