A personal question for those who have had LLETZ please

I had a lletz done over a month ago and have finished bleeding (after an infection)and am starting to feel much better. I was told i couldn't go swimming for a month or use a tampon and to have sex when i'm ready.
The thing is i'm very nervous about sex hurting and its putting me off trying. My dh is fantastic and would never put any pressure on me to try unless i was ready but i was wondering if anyone else felt the same way after

I did feel the same and like you I have a v kind DH who would never ever have put any pressure at all on me. I promise you, it didn't hurt at all once we did have sex. It was fine. I did feel weird about it for a while but that faded after a few months. It's a bit like having sex after giving birth - you just have to go ahead and get it over with and then you start to feel better about it.

Thankyou so much for your reply. It feels good to know i'm normal in the way i'm feeling. I was begining to wonder of i would ever feel ready but i know i've got all the time i need. Its the pain i'm the most scared of. Never thought of likening it to have dcs.
