Morning helpful people.
My dd (6yrs) hopped out of the bath last night and I noticed that she had clusters of spots on her knees and legs small and red but wiht white tops. There are a few rogue ones dotted aroundher body mainly from the waist down. She says they do not bother her and I left them alone. Then in the night she woke up with a temperature and was very upset. But wiht calpol is fine. I hae her off school today and wondered if andyone thought the spots and temp were related. They are not chicken spots or rash like. More like a load of random insect bites but no itching and no apparent bite as such. Any one got any ideas?

soyabean- impetigo? Might need an antibiotic cream like fucidin if it is.

Only thing I'd watch out for if it came out suddenly is eczema herpeticum. I say watch out for it as it can be nasty. It looks a bit like small chickenpox, but each spot has a characteristic pit around it (although it can kind of blend together).

Just as a matter of interest to those who were so helpful these turned out to be a staph infection and it spread to any small cut or scratch the kids had. We finally had to cave in and treat wiht antibiotics. Poor loves looked so grim but now look fine and not a spot in sight. Not Molluscum after all.
Bobsmum have yours all gone now too?
