Period started yesterday, DS is 11 months old, and last night it was sore like I had been kicked HARD down there, today is even worse. I have had to sit down mid making a cheesecake because I cannot stand any longer with the pain. What is causing it? Can I do anything to help it? The stomach cramps are awful, but I can breathe through them, this is something else

I had a few awful periods after dd was born.

Went to the GP and was prescribed mefenamic acid which helped until they calmed down.

Thanks, it comes and goes, I'll see how it goes today. Maybe I just forgot how bloomin' horrible they are
