Has Anyone Had a Baby With Early First Molars?

DS has just sprouted his 8th tooth in 4 months. He's just turned 8 months. According to my book, his first molars shouldn't come in until he's at least 1 year old. So are we in for a bit of a break? Or is the nightmare teething marathon scheduled to continue?

DS1 and DS2 both had all their teeth apart from the molars by 13 months. Their molars didn't appear until they were about 2 1/4, so hopefully you'll get a break!!

DS2 had all teeth apart from molars by 12 months, and all the molars came through together right around the time he turned 2 - so it was about a year's gap. Mind you, he was such a placid little chap it was a shock to me to discover he had 16 teeth when he did. I hear this means they lose first teeth early too -unlike DS1 who only had 4 teeth by 13 months.

DS has just cut his first molar (13mo). He hasn't got his eighth incisor though - no sign of it!

He had the seven incisors he has by the time he was about 8 or 9 months (can't remember - bad mummy!)

My baby is 16 months and has loads of molars and has had very little trouble teething. Not really gloating, because children 1 2 and 3 gave me loads of grief.
Hope you don't get too many more sleepless nights!

dd got her 4 back molars all at the same time roughly at about 11mth, i just caught a glimpse one day and noticed, i was very as she hadnt even wimpered

My dd got her first molars at 9 months, and all four came up on the same day.

At least it got it all over and done with. All her teeth came in fours, apart from the front ones.

my ds had all his first teeth apart from molars at 12mths. first molars came at 14mths. He tends to do them in fours aswell. However we have had nothing since but he is 19mths and has been grouchy and has cold at the min so may be the next molars...although where they r going to fit i have no idea.
