Obviously the wine is preventing me from spell checking!

Nah.

Cheers!

notnowbernard · 22/07/2009 21:28

Well, it's affecting your ability to spell correctly ...

norksinmywaistband · 22/07/2009 21:29

Well it is effecting your spelling, so maybe you are not all that sober

BecauseImWorthIt · 22/07/2009 21:29

Well, probably ...

norksinmywaistband · 22/07/2009 21:30

Whereas I am sober and my vocab is shot

AmazingBouncingFerret · 22/07/2009 21:30

I only got worried when it was 2 bottles and several whiskeys and lemonade...

On a slightly more serious note its best to calculate how many units a week, if they make your Dr want to send you to rehab then you need to cut back.

LynetteScavo · 22/07/2009 21:43

Isn't it supposed to be 14 units per week?

Hmm...so how many units are in a bottle?

OP posts:
BecauseImWorthIt · 22/07/2009 21:44

Around 10.

hf128219 · 22/07/2009 21:44

10 units in a bottle of say 14%.

LynetteScavo · 22/07/2009 21:45

In my yoof I was doing 30 un its per week, mostly binge drinking.

Now I usually consume 2 bottles per week, over one week. Is that OK? [hhm]

between 9 and about 11 depending how strong the wine is.

Is it a bottle in one go every night or ditto occasionally?

I find it's the get home glass, reading bedtime story glass, cooking the dinner glass and then the after dinner glass that add up. Still enjoy them though.

LynetteScavo · 22/07/2009 21:46

Bummer..I need to cut down.

So how many calories in a bottle? That's more likely to be an incentive. I used up 300 cal at the gym yesterday. [hopeful}

TigerDrivesAgain · 22/07/2009 21:54

Mr TigerDrivesAgain told me that there are as many calories in a bottle of wine as in a roast dinner. I hope he was scaremongering.

LyraSilvertongue · 22/07/2009 21:57

Around 120 cals per glass. So, six glasses per bottle...

Lynette - drinking that much will take years off your life and give you wrinkles. It's about 700 calories a bottle so 3500 calories to gain a pound..... you do the maths.

LynetteScavo · 22/07/2009 22:30

Right...all spare bottles are being stored in DH's ofice first thing tommorow.
