So here it is, a thread dedicated to those of us who are unlucky enough to be pg in the current madness!!

Would be interested to know how people are feeling about it? Are you worried? Taking any special precautions? etc

And lol at myself for not being able to see my own thread , but am still not unhiding this topic to read the mass hysteria, I can manage that all by myself

Hi ladies, thanks for your responses. Feeling ok today and am keeping fingers v firmly crossed it stays that way! Took temp this morning just in case as was due to have lunch with a lady whose baby was due yesterday. Temp was low for me, 36.5 ish which I would definitely have classed as a pre-ov temp in the bad old days of TTC! I still don't know what I will do if I get it, probably be guided by my consultant, who I suspect will tell me to take the drugs.

As I understand it though, your window for taking relenza (and possibly tamiflu as well?) is pretty brief, once you have full blown raging temp etc it's too late, which is tough as it means you can't wait and see whether you're going to have it mildly or not in order to decide whether to take the drugs. Does anyone know if that's right?

Keeping my fingers crossed for you Lola. Just heard that there is a suspected case in my DS's nursery so reckon its not long now til I get it!

hi guys, im currently 16 weeks pg, and starting suffereing a few swine flu symptoms, and was aware that I had been in contact with someone who had it |(didn't know they had it at the time) i have seen the gp today, and have been diagnosed with swine flu, and prescribed relenza, im currently resting in bed, with my partner taking great care of me!!
