Period pain...but no period...??

Has anybody else experienced this? I have been getting period pains for the last few months when I am not on my period. I have had normal periods when it does come. I have got a doctors appointment today but I am getting really worried....can anybody shed any light?

I had this once and then found out I was pregnant but if that is not the case I would go and see the GP.
