Bang to head- metallic taste?

Is it normal (or rather not a worry) if you get a metallic taste in your mouth after a hard bang to the head?

did you bite your tongue? the metallic taste could be from a bleeding tongue?
If not, no advice sorry but didn't want your post to go unnoticed.

No I didn't friend said its normally associated with concussion (nurse) but I'm fine except my head aches a bit.
