My jaw is clicking

It is so annoying and starting to feel a bit sore

It clicks when I bite down (when the upper and lower back teeth touch, IYKWIM)

I can feel the click eight up by my ear

I am stressed atm and have just got over a sinus virus thing

But if it carries on would I see a Dr or a dentist?

What could it be?

I don't know what it is but I have that to. I've always had it on and off and i'm 32 now. As far as I know it's not dangerous and it's just when you've clicked your jaw out of place. Mine normally goes within an hour. MY DH finds it funny. It sort of aches but doesn't hurt and as you say you can feel it near the ear but within the jaw.

Hmmm... mine's been clicking on and off for a few days now

God, it's so annoying

Thanks for reassurance

I had this - went to GP who told me it was um....MRJ or somthing.....she sent me to dentist who gave me a mouth guard thingy to wear at night. It worked.

Thanks, Lynette

If it carries on over the weekend I will go to GP

Wonder if I am clenching my jaw in the night or something and whether that's making it worse

Ho-hum
