Both my 2 kids flare up with Eczema after swimming and we've booked a villa with pool for a holiday! Has anyone used this stuff? Does it really work? I'm very sceptical of all eczema cure products!

Never heard of it myself... All I have ever used and loved is Elena's products... as it happens she is advertising on top of this page as I type.
Do a search with Eczema you will see other mums' views on all these products !
Good luck

i just use diprobase. For really stubborn patches vaseline. Before swimming I used to use 50:50 - (as recommended by dermatologist) it provided some protection as it was so gloopy. Ds1's eczema is only mild now so I just shoer him well and use diprobase afterwards.

Cici, try these links National Eczema Society .,

and Talk Eczema

There is alot of information. We were told our son would have his eczema till he was at least 7. He is now 3 and we are managing to keep the condition under control. He still has itchy skin and may do forever but it doesnt rule our life like it used to. Dont despair but do try to find out as much as you can. We found the doctors were content to prescribe steroid creams over a long period of time but because we had done our research, we were able to push for other treatments. Good luck.

Cici - my ds was born with beautiful skin and scalp but like yours, got eczema at a couple of months or so. I have tried all sorts of creams (as well as hydrocortisone when really bad) and the latest one seems really good - it is called CETRABEN and you can get it prescribed (it's not too expensive to buy). I do seem to be controlling it quite well at the moment. I got really depressed about it in the beginning but have got used to massaging him 3 times a day as moisturisation seems to be really important in controlling his eczema. HTH. I hope it will just be infantile eczema in his case and yours too.
