Does anyone know if you give airboots back to the hospital?

The hospital gave me an airboot to keep my foot/ankle supported until the broken bone in my foot has healed. In my pained state I forgot to ask if you hand the boot back when finished, as the break is not right through, I have been discharged, so will not be back at the hospital for follow ups etc.

I have looked these boots up on the internet and they cost approx £80 to buy.

But then would you really want to wear a smelly second hand boot that someone has worn for 6 weeks?

ring the orthopaedics dept they'll soon say if they want them back.

I'm sure they will love to have them back. Way too many people borrow then and never return them, someone has to pay to replace them.

I have since spoken to my neighbour (she's a GP) she said they use the outer part again (which is the part that mainly holds your foot in place) and then they replace the sock part. So I will take it back when my 6 weeks are up.
