Hi
Has anyone any experience of this pill?Have had a quick search and I know that about 3 days after stopping it you should have a bleed but Im wondering about subsequent periods. Would it be about a month after bleed or revert back to usual dates iykwim.
I want to delay my August period but dont fancy taking 3 pills a day whilst on holiday so I thought maybe delay julys period then I wouldnt need to worry about August.

Hope I am making sense!

I took this recently to stop some random mid cycle bleeding, I stopped taking it the day my period was due and I came on the next day.

Oh and I only took one tablet a day.

It doesn't stop ovulation or anything so shouldn't mess your cycle up at all really

Thanks for your reply
So do you mean that you think that I would still come on in aug my usual date even if I had delayed julys period by two weeks?

i took it to delay my period (i was doing a marathon) and it did by about 3 days but not the PM symptoms. Next period was the usual 28 days from the delayed one. So to delay your August period you would need to push back your July one otherwise you need to keep taking the pills through your holiday. I found it did not delay the premenstrual/menstrual symptoms so it felt like these were longer than normal

Just reviving this thread as I am taking Norethesterone (sp.?) at the moment to delay my period this month- so that won't have to take it when on holiday in August.
So exactly the same situation as boocha who started this thread 3 years ago!
My GP said he thought it should mean that my next periods will also be that much later.
When I took the same progesterone only pill 2 years ago for about 2 weeks again because of a holiday- I'm pretty sure my next period AFTER the cycle initially delayed was also delayed i.e. the pill delayed the first period which came about 3 days or so after stopping taking the pills- and the next period after that one, was the usual 28 or so days later.
Anyone else tried this- and if so, did your period after the delayed one come a normal cycle later or did it come at the date it would have if you'd never taken the prog. only pill?

Thanks
